By accessing or using Meloria ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Meloria is a personal library and recommendation platform for movies, TV shows, books, and music. The Service allows you to capture, organise, and discover cultural content based on your taste.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Meloria and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Content metadata is sourced from third-party providers (TMDB, Spotify, Google Books) under their respective licences.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meloria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
